Former Minister Indranil Sen Appears Before ED, Summoned Again in MassArt Probe

Former West Bengal minister Indranil Sen appeared before the Enforcement Directorate (ED) at the CGO Complex in Salt Lake on Wednesday after being summoned in connection with an ongoing probe into alleged financial irregularities.
According to Anandabazar, the ED had asked Sen to appear at around 11 am with records of financial transactions and bank accounts of his various organisations covering the past 10 years. Investigators are also examining allegations linked to a civic volunteer recruitment case and financial transactions involving entities associated with Sen.
Sen had earlier appeared before the ED on September 30 and was questioned for several hours. The agency is also investigating allegations involving MassArt and the sale of Durga Puja preview-show and entry passes while allegedly invoking UNESCO's name.
The ED has said it is examining financial transactions, money trails and the role of various entities. The allegations remain under investigation and have not been established as proven offences by a court.
