State government moves the Supreme Court seeking cancellation of the interim bail granted to the Congress candidate in the Nandigram by-election!

The Calcutta High Court granted conditional interim bail to Congress candidate Milan Pradhan on Tuesday. Opposing this, the state has now filed a case in the Supreme Court.

According to sources, the state government’s argument in the case filed before the Supreme Court is that there is a need to investigate Milan Pradhan. Therefore, it is necessary to keep him in custody.

The hearing of the case has been scheduled for October 5. That means, it is learnt that the case will be heard in the Supreme Court on the very day before the election.

In this situation, will Milan Pradhan actually be able to get released from jail?
