Rules Changing for Passport Verification

A change is coming in the verification process related to obtaining or renewing passports in Kolkata! From October this year, the old system that has been in place for a long time is changing. From now on, ordinary citizens will no longer have to run to their local police station for passport verification.

According to sources, from now on the entire process will be conducted under the direct control of the 'Security Control Organisation' (Security Control Organisation or SCO). Until now, along with the SCO, local police stations were also involved in the responsibility of verification, which resulted in delays and various complications. To resolve these complications and make the entire process faster, more transparent and modern, the entire responsibility is now being handed over to the Security Control Organisation.
