On Saturday, the police kiosk located in front of Trinamool MP Abhishek Banerjee’s ‘Shantiniketan’ residence on Harish Mukherjee Road was demolished. The entire area has been completely cleared.

In the past, around 50-60 police personnel used to be deployed in three shifts at this kiosk for security duties. Now, that permanent infrastructure has been removed.
