CJP Founder Abhijeet Dipke Detained From Plane at Delhi Airport Ahead of Protest

Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) founder Abhijeet Dipke was detained by Delhi Police from inside an aircraft shortly after it landed at Indira Gandhi International Airport on October 10, ahead of the party’s proposed protest at Jantar Mantar.
CJP members Saurav Das and Ashutosh Ranka, who were travelling with Dipke from Mumbai, were also detained, according to reports. Dipke reportedly broadcast the encounter live on Instagram as police personnel boarded the aircraft.
The proposed demonstration was called to demand the resignation of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar. Delhi Police had denied permission for the protest, and security restrictions were put in place across parts of the capital.
The detentions came amid wider preventive action ahead of the planned gathering. The precise legal basis for each detention and the subsequent status of those detained should be confirmed through official updates.
