60 Crore Corruption in the Name of Goddess Darshan During Puja! ED Searches Former Minister Indranil Sen’s House

VIP passes for Goddess Darshan! And by selling those passes, corruption worth around Rs 60 crore, now the ED has launched search operations in the case of selling Durga Puja passes during the Trinamool regime.

The ED has been conducting search operations since morning at the Kasba residence of former Trinamool minister Indranil Sen. In addition, the ED has also reached his farmhouse in Hooghly district.

According to Enforcement Directorate sources, crores of rupees were collected by selling Durga Puja VIP passes. There are also allegations of collecting money from several Puja committees by using UNESCO’s name. In the investigation into these allegations, searches are being conducted simultaneously at 15 locations today.

Search operations are also underway at Arijit Dashgupta’s house in Panchasayar. The ED arrived for the search after 6 a.m. Arijit Dashgupta used to watch the preview shows of the event management company Masart. Sources also claim that he is a business partner of Indranil Sen.

Several Puja committees are linked to this corruption. The ED claims that money was collected by forming a joint alliance and using UNESCO’s name. The investigation has also revealed that there was no connection with UNESCO.
